When Rai was renovating this apartment my Mum and her friend Barb were in town. I had to take them to see it as they are both property perves from way back. Even under construction the beauty of this apartment was apparent. It's enormous arched windows & doors onto the garden terrace being one of it's most stunning features together with a direct access for it's full working kitchen straight onto the terrace. With one large bedroom and a super comfortable sofa bed it is a great duel rent with Capitello right next door. We all fantisized about buying it one day, it would be our dream in Positano. Alas ...

The ULYSSES APARTMENTS - POSITANO.
Description:
The Ulysses apartment building started life in the late 1800's as the first hotel in the yet to be discovered town of Positano, a small and rustic fishing village between Sorrento and Amalfi.
It was bought by the present owners after the First World War and in 1995 was closed for remodelling as luxury apartments. Today the Ulysses apartments consist of 4 floors of 9 luxury apartments. Five of these nine apartments are available for weekly rent year round.
All apartments are fully air conditioned and heated; this is the perfect haven during the warmer busy summers or the cooler quieter off season periods. Set just above the main road that thread through the town of Positano, its position is perfect, not too internal and not too far out of town.
All apartments have a majestic view of the sea and Positano below. All feature full kitchens or kitchenettes, telephones, , FREE WiFi, satellite TV and the little local bus stop is just 20 metres away next to the excellent delicatessen which offers home deliveries of all delicious local products. For a quick 10 minute spin around town, the main centre and beach of Positano, there is the small local Positano bus ( just 1.5 euro) just at the rear of the building or you can enjoy an easy decent by foot in less than 10 minutes.
Le Volte – luxury one bedroom – sleeps 3 pers ( or 2 adults & 2 small children)
This apartment is adjacent to the other luxury apt, Il Capitello, so is an excellent group rental if you are more than one couple. This luxury apartment has a delightful vine covered garden terrace for al fresco dining off the vaulted ceiling living & kitchen areas with beautiful cathedral style windows.
While this beautiful apartment tranquilly faces the sea it has excellent transport access at the rear: hire car, taxi or buses with, “no noise” .

Included in Rental:
Two hours cleaning a week with one linen and two towel changes.
Air conditioning.
Extras on Request:
Extra maid service is available with a 2 hour minimum @ 12 euro an hour.
A local chef is available at 12 euro an hour with a minimum of 2 hours.
Baby sitters can be arranged at 20 euro @ hour.
Heating is available at 10 euro a day or 70 euro a week for all apartments
Rental Conditions:
Clients should arrive between 2 – 7 pm. Later arrivals will attract a surcharge of 50 euro and there will be no check ins after 10pm. Please notify owner if you are aware of travel problems.
Checkout time is before 10am on your day of departure.
All train, flight and/or ship arrival details are appreciated on the time of booking. And mobile phone
numbers are requested where possible to keep track of arrivals and departure.
An advanced food supply can be organized prior to arrival with a 25 euro cash delivery fee to be
settled on arrival plus the expenses of the delivery. E.g. breakfast food, wine, fresh bread, cheeses,
cold cuts, coffee etc, so please make sure you let us know on booking if you require this service.
Tariffs and Seasons for 2012:
High Season – March 31 - April 7 / 12 May – 6 Oct / 22 Dec - 6 Jan '13 @ week - 2650 €
Low Season – all other months - @ week - LS 2050 €
Tariffs & Seasons for 2011:
High Season – Mid May – end September - 2650 € @ week
Low Season – All remaining months except Xmas & Easter – 2050 € @ week
on departure minus any expenses incurred.
Security Deposit:
There is a 200 euro deposit to pay in cash on arrival for damages and phone charges. This will be
reimbursed on departure minus any expenses incurred.
