• This villa is so much like my last home on the Amalfi coast which was just down the road. The owner is a builder and everything about this house is good and solid! including the wonderful pizza oven in the garden, which was my  first introduction to this property. A large local party was happening and we were invited to drink wine, eat pizza and sing - all  a common event in this part of town tucked into the mountain high above the sea. And the best part was the competition amongst the pizza throwing guests as to who could make the best pizza. This villa offers is a true "local" holiday with all the trappings.

Nocelle – VILLA GIARDINO FRESCO – Sleeps 6 -8 pers.

Description:

This leafy green little villa is perched apx  5 kms above Positano in the tiny town of Nocelle, another gem in the treasure chest of the Amalfi Coast. The town enjoys some of the most breath taking views of Positano and the Amalfi Coast  - a patchwork quilt of rooftops and the aqua blue of the Mediterranean.

Villa Giardino Fresco is just that – a Cool Garden of tranquilly and quiet with a bustling coastline below. This is the ideal spot for a total relax in the heat of summer. With regular local bus timetables and just 20 mins up the hill from Positano it really does offer so much. This is a very  “locals” area of the coast. The locals are few, friendly and incredibly helpful.

The villa offers an opportunity to employ a local “pizzaiolo” ( pizza chef) to come and create a magnificent meal out of the garden’s locally constructed pizza oven. I night under the stars with local wine and pizza away from the maddening summer crowds!

The Villa Giardino Fresco offers a cooler mountain climate in the heat of summer educing a wonderful deep and peaceful sleep. You will sleep like a baby with the cooler summer mountain air surrounding.

There is parking for rented cars or bikes at a stone’s throw from the villa and you can enjoy a delicious locally prepared meal at the town’s one excellent trattoria  – their rabbit is out of this world!

Included in Rental:

Fresh bedroom linen is supplied on arrival and bathroom linen will be changed again half way through the week. If more frequent changes are required, please request on arrival.

              Electricity and gas

Not included in the Rental:

ADSL access for the internet is 25 € @ weeK

Extras on request:  

          Extra cleaning can be requested before arrival at 15€ an hr.

          Pizzaiolo to prepare a homemade pizza meal in the evening. Ask on arrival.

Rental Conditions:
Arrivals between 3 – 4 pm and Departures between 9 -10am. Negotiable 

Tariffs & Seasons:

High Season: End June – End August, Easter, Xmas & New Year – 2.100€ @ week

Mid Season: May, June & first half of September – 1.900€ @ week

Low Season:  All remaining months - 1650€ @ week

Security Deposit:

There is a 200 € security deposit for damages to be paid in cash on arrives. This will be reimbursed on departure minus any expenses incurred.
