POSITANO - Villa Serenita'

La Villa Serenita' is secretely tucked away from the eagar eyes of passing tourism and enjoys one of the most serene corners of the coast. The villa is surronded by lush native vegetation but has spectacular views overlooking the Amalfi Coast and is just a short 15 mins walk into the heart of Positano.

Description:

This spectacular villa of 3,500 sq. metres is nestled into a leafy valley just minutes outside Positano and overlooks the magnificent Amalfi Coastline. Complete with secluded fencing this villa is known to few  locals who claim  it has always reserved its mystery and charms from the busy tourist world outside being one of the most outstanding villas on the coast.

Exclusive access to the villa is via a pleasant pathway of apx 150 metres with interval stairs that leads directly to the villa from the state road. There is also a paid car park just 100 meters away, from where there is also a goods lift to transport luggage and daily food supplies straight to the villa.

A direct staircase from the roadside is under way in June 2011 to access the villa entrance directly with just 70 stairs.

The villa can be rented alone (sleeping 7-8 pers) OR with any one of the surrounding three studios ( note photos of elegant checker-board floors in grey and white) to accommodate more guests OR they can be rented seperately from the main villa.  The studios sleep 2 pers each (one has an extra day bed & sleeps three) and all can be made up as double or twin bedrooms. They are fully equipped with cooking corner and bathroom.

The wide open spaces surrounding the villa lend beautifully to eating “al fresco” with a large table to accommodate 14 pers surrounded by rare and exotic vegetation.   There is also ample  area for sunning with several outdoor showers for the warmer months or just quiet reading under a tree.

The closest beach is just 300 metres away and the main beach of Positano is apx 1,2 kms. The closest deli is just 500 metres away and they all home deliver.

The interior of the villa is decorated tastefully with  antique furnishings and paintings from  Neapolitan and local craftsmen. With 100 cm thick walls in many parts, air-conditioning has never been a necessity in this spead out paradise  of the Amalfi coast.

• They area fully equipped with all the facilities: cooking corner, bath with double shower, TV, and wonderful private shaded terraces overlooking the Amalfi Coast.

Included in rental:

• Laundry and ironing service
• Breakfast preparation by villa staff. Goods at client cost
• Preparation and cost of breakfasts are  included in the rental fee for all studios
• One main meal preparation by villa staff, to be self served. Goods at client cost
• Villa staff will do all grocery ordering and have it delivered for 10 euro @ delivery
• Heating in cooler months

Excluded from rental:

• Transport to and from the villa
• Grocery shopping
• Staffed extra events

Tariffs & Season 2011

 There is but one season for this villa, i.e.  the tariff remains the same all year round.

The main villa can be rented for a minimum of 4 nights according to previous and following rents. Otherwise it has the standard weekly rent.

 Main villa (sleeps 7 – 8 pers) minimum stay -  4 nights – 4,300 euro – not all villa services provided for this short week rent

Main villa(sleeps 7  8 pers)  one week – 5,500 euro

 Per Studio ( x 3) each sleeps 2 pers:

Minimum stay – 3 nights. @ 650 euro

One full week:  1,400 euro

 Security Deposit: to be determined on booking, according to number of guests and will be reimbursed on departure minimum any expenses incurred.
